Audrey Hepburn is renowned for her elegant fashion sense.
It was her friendship with Hubert de Givenchy that created her unique style. They met whilst Hepburn was filming Sabrina, and after that she became Givenchy’s muse.
After Sabrina, he designed her wardrobe for nearly every film she starred in including creating the timeless ‘Little Black Dress’ in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (above).
Givenchy stripped back dresses and used sleek, smooth lines without fussy details. It was this simplicity that created the elegant silhouette that Audrey Hepburn was famous for..
